By using www.mcrcomps.co.uk (the “Website”) or entering any competition hosted on it, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Overview

MCR Comps Ltd operates the following primary competition types:

  • Jackpot Draws
  • Instant Win Competitions
  • Free Play Draws
  • Featured Draws
  • Reveal Games

 

In addition to these primary competition types, MCR Comps Ltd may run other competitions, promotions, or giveaways from time to time. Any additional competition type will be clearly described on the relevant competition page.

All competitions are prize competitions or free draws under UK law and are not classed as gambling, lotteries, or betting. Competitions may include a skill-based element or a free entry route in compliance with the Gambling Act 2005. Where a skill-based question is required, this will be clearly stated on the competition page, and only correct entries will be entered into the draw.

MCR Comps Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel any competition at any time without prior notice. The website and all competitions are provided “as is”, and MCR Comps Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation.

 

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stated for a specific competition.
  • Employees, agents, contractors, and representatives of MCR Comps Ltd, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter unless explicitly permitted.
  • To facilitate the launch of a competition, MCR Comps Ltd may allocate a limited number of non-winning seed entries for operational and display purposes. These seed entries are not eligible to win and will be clearly disclosed in the competition details where applicable.
  • MCR Comps Ltd reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or disqualify any entry that is incomplete, ineligible, fraudulent, or otherwise unfair.
  • Only entries with correct skill-based answers (if required) qualify. MCR Comps Ltd may cancel and re-run a draw if a technical fault occurs. Prizes may include cash, site credit, gift cards, or other published prizes
  • MCR Comps Ltd reserves the right to limit entries per person, household, or IP address.

 

3. How to Enter

Entry Methods:

1. Paid Online Entry

Follow the on-screen instructions on the Website and complete payment to submit your entry.

2. Free Postal Entry

You can enter any competition for free by post.

To be valid, each postal entry must include:

  • Full name
  • Postal address
  • Email address and telephone number
  • Competition name or reference number
  • Correct answer (if applicable)

Rules for postal entries:

  • Only one entry per envelope is permitted.
  • Incomplete, illegible, or late entries may be rejected.
  • Postal entries are treated equally to paid entries for all prizes, including instant wins.
  • Participants are solely responsible for ensuring entries are complete, legible, and posted in time. Proof of postage is not proof of entry.
  • Only standard-rate postage is required; no premium or tracked services are necessary.

 

4. Competition Types & Draws

A) Jackpot Draws

The prize fund increases with each entry. Draws are conducted live on social media using RANDOM.ORG.

B) Instant Win Competitions

Instant Win competitions allow participants to discover immediately whether they have won. MCR Comps Ltd uses RANDOM.ORG to assign pre-generated instant-win numbers. If a winning number is allocated to the participant, they will be notified instantly. Prizes may include cash, merchandise, gift cards, or site credit.

C) Free Play Draws

Free Play Draws are open to all eligible participants without payment. These are conducted using RANDOM.ORG to declare the winner. Prizes may include cash, gift cards, or site credit.

D) Featured Draws

Featured Draws are highlighted competitions with enhanced prizes or special rules. They may be limited-time or have unique entry requirements. Draws will be conducted fairly using RANDOM.ORG and winners may be announced live, where stated on the competition page. Prizes may include cash, site credit, gift cards, or other special items.

E) Reveal Games

Our reveal games allow participants to discover instantly whether they have won a prize. MCR Comps Ltd uses cryptographically secure random number generation (RNG) to determine winning outcomes fairly, based on clearly defined probabilities. The front-end animation simply displays the pre-determined outcome and does not constitute a gambling game.

If a winning outcome occurs, participants are notified immediately upon completing the game. Prizes may include cash, merchandise, gift cards, or site credit.

The chance of winning each prize is displayed below the all-time prize statistics table for full transparency.

F) Additional Competitions

From time to time, MCR Comps Ltd may run additional or special competitions, promotions, or campaigns that fall outside the primary competition types. These competitions operate under the same principles of fairness and transparency and will clearly state:

  • How to enter
  • The prize(s)
  • Any applicable rules
  • Any unique mechanics

Unless stated otherwise, these Terms apply to all additional competitions.

F) Transparency

Jackpot Draws, Free Play Draws, and Featured Draws are live-streamed for transparency. Additional competitions may also be live-streamed where stated. Only anonymised participant information (e.g., ticket numbers or initials) is displayed during live draws. All draws use RANDOM.ORG-certified random technology to ensure fairness.

 

5. Prize Funding & Distribution – Jackpot Draws

For Jackpot competitions, the Prize Pot increases with every entry by the amount specified in the individual competition details. Where applicable, a Charity Pot may also be allocated. The allocation of entries to each pot will be clearly stated in the competition details. Charitable donations are made to registered UK charities and may be independently verified.

 

6. Winners & Publicity

  • Winners will be contacted using the details provided.
  • Winners must claim their prize within 7 days. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture, redraw, or rollover.
  • By entering, participants consent to the use of their first name, surname initial, and county for winner announcements.
  • During the claim process, winners may be asked for optional additional consent (photo, full name, video).
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting publicity already issued.
  • Winners of Additional or Featured Draws will be notified and publicised in the same manner unless otherwise stated.

7. Prize Types, Payment & Delivery

Prizes may include (depending on the competition):

  • Cash prizes
  • Physical prizes
  • Digital prizes
  • Gift Cards
  • Site Credit

A) Cash Prizes

Cash prizes are paid via bank transfer within 24–48 hours after winner verification.

B) Physical & Digital Goods

Winners are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Delivery dates are estimates only. Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant.

C) Cash Alternatives

Cash alternatives are only offered where explicitly stated on the individual competition page. This applies to physical prizes, digital prizes, gift cards, or Featured Draw prizes. Cash alternatives are always at the sole discretion of MCR Comps Ltd.

D) Unclaimed Prizes

Unclaimed prizes after 7 days may be withdrawn, redrawn, or rolled over.

 

8. Site Credit & Gift Cards

A) Site Credit

Awarding Site Credit: May be awarded as a prize in selected competitions, instant wins, or Featured Draws. It is added directly to the winner’s MCR Comps account.

Use of Site Credit: Can be used exclusively to purchase paid entries on the Website. No cash value.

Validity Period: 12 months from application.

Non-Refundable: Entries purchased with site credit are non-refundable.

Fraud Prevention: MCR Comps Ltd may withhold or remove site credit if fraud or misuse is suspected.

B) Gift Cards

Gift Card Prizes: May be awarded in selected competitions, including Featured Draws. Type, value, and retailer stated on the competition page.

Retailer Terms: Subject to retailer’s terms. MCR Comps Ltd not responsible for retailer policies or expiries.

Non-Exchangeable: Cannot be swapped for cash unless explicitly stated.

Delivery: Digital or physical depending on retailer.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

MCR Comps Ltd accepts no liability for:

  • Technical faults
  • Lost or incomplete entries
  • Unauthorised access
  • System or network failures

Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence or fraud. Force Majeure applies. Website is provided “as is.”

 

10. Data Protection

MCR Comps Ltd processes data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Used for competition administration, verification, regulatory compliance, and contacting winners. Publicity rules follow Section 6. See Privacy Policy.

 

11. Payments, Refunds & Chargebacks

All payments processed securely in GBP. Entries non-refundable except where required by law. Fraudulent charge-backs may result in account suspension and recovery of costs.

 

12. Account Security & Registration

Users must keep login details secure. Inappropriate display names may be edited or removed. Report suspicious activity to support@mcrcomps.co.uk.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Exclusive jurisdiction applies to courts of England & Wales.

 

14. Severability

If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force.

 

15. Updates to Terms

MCR Comps Ltd may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of updates.
